Teach for Health is a great NGO that was started by Kris Koontz and Noah Hawthorne, two medical students at UCSF. As part of a larger health promotion program that TFH is initializing as a grass-roots project in the area, U.R.G.E.N.T. (URGENT-Aid) will be giving training to firefighters in Nicaragua. Boogie will be there July 10th until August 4th.
