While Lawrence arrive in Ethiopia to begin his field study requirements for his MPH Capstone Project, Ben also arrived to have an active hands-on look into the region and culture of Ethiopia with the intention of gaining insight to better prepare his future endeavors, both for service as well as his upcoming field study requirements, when he returns to Ethiopia in December 2010.
While there, Ben had the honor of meeting a number of people that included what many would consider the world’s leading experts in maternal mortality. This marked the beginning of a very worthwhile collaboration with an optimistic future.
